Terms of Service

BritSpeech is an accent-training tool. It gives you feedback on how close your speech is to Received Pronunciation and offers lessons to help you improve. It is a coaching aid, not a certification.

You may use BritSpeech for your own learning. Please do not copy, resell, or reverse engineer the app, and do not use it to harass or impersonate anyone.

The app is free to download and try. Any paid plan is sold and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms, and you manage or cancel it in your store account. Renewals and refunds follow the store rules that apply to you.

Accents improve with practice, and progress varies from person to person. We do not promise a specific score or that you will sound a particular way by a particular date.

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, BritSpeech is not liable for indirect or incidental losses arising from your use of the product. Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot be excluded by law.

We may update these terms and will post changes here with a new date. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
